There is only one game in the world I am really interested in. And that is Far Cry. I'm the kind of girl who likes to just get in there and shoot and kill the baddies.
Far Cry is a first-person shooter computer game where you don't have to pretend like you're a fantasy character who speaks in a funny manner and wears skimpy clothes. The character Jack Carver lands on an island after being hijacked by villains, and has to shoot his way through jungles and islands to save his sexy gal friend, set off nuclear weapons, fly hang gliders and drive boats, kill genetically engineered monsters and find an antidote to stop himself from being a monster. All such fun!
Alas, being one who doesn't actively seek out computer games to play, I've been playing this intermittenly (I've completed it several times) for about 2ish years. Heh. It was released in 2004! There's now Far Cry 2.
My favourite is Obsidian Edge tactical mod for multiplayer game. I always take on the role of a sniper and take joy in snuffing unsuspecting friends.
