Online gaming, like everything else online, is evolving fast. Integration is one thing that the user actively seeks in the online world. So, it makes sense when all the contacts of my Orkut website are automatically added to my gmail account. This is what I want. And this is what I expect from every other service in the online arena. Zapak launching a Facebook application can be seen as a step in this direction. And with Orkut also opening up its application binary interface (API), expect a lot of action. So we will have friends comparing their online gaming scores, friends testing each other on the “general” knowledge about the popular games, and even challenging each other in the virtual world. Maybe even a “trophy” that appears on the profile of the contestant to show off to the world.
