Yi-Lan is the most green place in Taiwan. With low pollution and not so crowed like Taipei, Yi-Lan is Taiwan’s Shangrila. In order to spread the concept of environmental protection and sustainable development, Yi-Lan county government holds Yi-Lan Green Exposition every year since 2000.
"Global Warming" is the main theme of Yi-Lan Green Expo this year. Visitors will have fun and learn the knowledge of global worming and atmospheric science by visiting six different theme exhibition malls. Based on the tree of Yi-Lan county and three elements of life?sunshine, air and water, organizer designed four cute mascots. These mascots will guide visitors to explore the whole expo area and experience LOHAS-Life of health and sustainability.”
