PITCHFORK: I really hate to admit it but this website has become the “Final Word” for indie music. It is too powerful and will crumble. They messaged a guy I know and said “get ready we are about to change your life” and then they made him “Best New Music” and he became famous. God complex.
FACT MAGAZINE has more or less the best DJ mixes on the planet for unreleased expertly mixed electronic music. XLR8R is good for this as well.
This photo essay on the GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS is much more entertaining than the YouTube infomercial. And is a nice example with the recent fascination of Juggalo culture which my friend compared to the floating trash pyre in the middle of the Pacific.
