Lots of things I’m personally waiting for. I like Michael Haneke and looking forward for the first screening of his latest ‘Das Weise Band’. German mentality is pretty close to Russians and new wave of German art-house films have been quite a success in Moscow.
Besides there is a couple of promising events on the horizon. First is the ‘Tomorrow” film festival featuring the best vanguard short films and movies from around the world. I like this festival for its inviting warm atmosphere; it is quite informal, crowded with freaky people and always offers cheap drinks at the bar. Second is ‘Pshychodelia night’ at Hooligan magazine garret. We plan to turn this airy spot into schizophrenic cave and screen all night best psychedelic movies including Liquid Sky and Super Jail series.
