Want a taste of Paris while traveling through Portland? This little yellow haven is a romantic, sweet date spot. Nestled deep in the Pearl district, it’s worth looking for! Le Happy is a French creperie that serves savory or sweet crepes, salads, cocktails, beer and wine. Dark, red walls, local art, a wall of flowers, nutella banana crepes, and sweet servers? Who could ask for anything more?

Above is a photograph of the Heavenly pastries from Pix Patisserie. Super rich, incredible confections are made  [with love] like the vanilla bean creme’ brulee’ with edible gold. Pix serves a hand-picked selection of accompanying beer and wine, and makes a chocolate stout float! Chocolate Kinder eggs [hollow chocolate eggs with a toy inside] usually only available in Europe are found here. There are also a dazzling array of truffles with sometimes bizarre, always delicious flavors inside, like the bleu cheese truffle.
