The 'Brautigan'

Southeast Portland’s Press Club names all of their crepes after famous writers! My favorite, the Brautigan, is a hearty mix of smoked salmon, goat cheese, spinach, and creme fraiche. Sweet options, such as the nutella banana [whose writer name moniker is escaping me] a full bar, and warm, friendly staff make this one of my favorite places to go in all of Portland.

Bara Sushi House is a new date spot, located on the corner of SE 21st st. between Clinton and Division Street. I was surprised and delighted by the pleasant, cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices and scrumptious food! My beau opted for the light yet flavorful ginger beef, I ordered the chicken skewers and a melt-in-your-mouth shrimp tempura roll! Delicious and memorable, we’re sure to return VERY soon…
