I’ve been catching up on the archives at Crooked Timber, Kottke.org, and Acephalous for at least the last two weeks.  Each of the blogs is very very smart. The blogs differ in subject and format: Crooked Timber is a group blog which covers academia and politics, Kottke.org is a personal blog which covers internet-type-stuff (fonts, cool games, interesting stories) from a smart angle, and Acephalous is the blog of a university professor who covers literary and comic criticism with a great wry tone.
