On Dec 23 I travelled to Tulum, Mexico for a two week holiday break. I always go away at Christmas to escape the brutal British festivities. It’s sloppy party after messy get together after drunken catastrophe after walking home at 8am having a heart attack; I put all that behind me four years ago and never stay in London. Tulum is beautiful. We stay in an eco cabana on a private beach and read and swim every day and don’t drink. It’s not been as decimated by tourism as has Playa Del Carmen or Cancun. Hopefully we come back in January healthy and happy.
