Polish blue pottery

Young Poles have started to appreciate their traditional handcraft. After Alessi and a high-tech style dinnerware era here comes Boleslawiec!

Grandmas drink their afternoon teas in these hand-decorated mugs, and I’ve noticed that my friends buy big sets for their houses. They mix and match traditional patterns with new designs.

If you are going to Poland, you will probably see the this famous pottery from the small town of Boleslawiec ( pronounced bo-leh-swav-ee-ets) located in the southwest of Poland.
