I have noticed that a lot of artists are creating their visual manifestos via Tumblr. Tumblr is often thought of as blogspot lite. It is easy to use and you can update it with a smartphone and it seems like everyone has an iphone. Also you can follow other people’s updates and network with them so it is kinda like a visual Twitter. I think it is better than Twitter. In fact I hate twitter and will never “tweet” again. It kinda fills the creative gap left when everyone dumped myspace for html unfriendly facebook. The image themes i notice a lot of tend toward the elegant and poetic, or otherworldly with lots of video stills most likely taken from youtube.
