JuliaandBen – one name, two minds, a label and the next generation of Berlin fashion designers. They don‘t pretend to be high fashion or especially classy, but with their strict black and white collection you can party the whole night and show up the day after for any kind of event you can imagine.
Julia and Ben‘s clothes can also be described as “dirty” in the best possibly way – instead of following the trend of clean scandinavian chic they batik their pieces in their own bathtub and the leggings and tights are broken by hand with ladders and runs.
Everything is allied with the environment their collection used to start with - the party and nightlife scene - and this is also the ideology Julia and Ben are still following. In their opinion, designers have to earn the right to create classic pieces of cloth. They are still in the process of doing this, but I think it won‘t be long until we will see the first collection of suits and skirts from Julia and Ben.
