Benji | February 9th, 2010

Television is – and this is a fact that can be easily proved – mostly terrible, boring and without any kind of quality. But then there are some exceptions, and one of those exceptions is called Anna Fischer.

Born in Berlin, Anna soon dicovered her love for music and theatre, but it wasn‘t until 2002 that she was dicovered in a club in Prenzlauer Berg. From then on she could be seen regularly in television productions, and for her performance in Jeanette Wagners drama Liebeskind she won the Max Ophüls prize as well as an appearence the Sundance Film Festival.

From then on she won prize after prize, from the goldenen Kamera, to the Adolf Grimme prize, to this year‘s German television award. At the tender age of just 23 she is already one of the most anticipated German television actresses. As if that wasn‘t enough, Anna is also following her musical talent with her band Panda who released their first record in 2007.
