Mitch & Mitch was formed in 2002 by two musicians from the legendary Warsaw post-punk band Starzy Singers.  They released their  debut album entitled ‘Luv Yer Country‘ in 2003 followed in 2006 by ‘12 Catchy Tunes (We Wish We Had Composed)’ – an eclectic record which features music composed by some long-forgotten and ignored giants who had had a considerable influence on the group’s own artistic path. Mitch & Mitch have caused havoc with their extraordinary shows in countless cities across Poland and Europe.

“We are trying to fuck with the star system,” explains Macio Moretti, the band’s ringleader. “We are trying to say ‘We are the stars from somewhere’, and nobody knows where from.” Mitch & Mitch songs are often sung in fake languages, with some deliberately sounding as if they are being sung by someone foreign pretending to speak English. They put on legendary live shows, too.
