The sound of Croydon is getting big in Sweden.  Promoters All Out Dub Step are the promoters piushing the scene forward with regular parties in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Mälmo.

They have also their own record label, website and TV. They have had the likes of Benga, Kozee, Goldielocks, Rusko play their parties.

On the other hand, it seems Skweee, synthetic funk from the north is having an influence back the other way too on the dub step scene in the UK. The south-side of Stockholm is central to this sound; it’s not something that will be heard that regularly at Stureplan. Daniel Savio coined the phrase Skwee and Flogsta Danshall is the best label for this sound.
