I was at 2 parties in Brooklyn recently: first was populated with the 30 something house crowd at Market Hotel to see the amazing Floating Points (I didn’t even stay to watch him despite my admiration). The only fashionable treat of the evening were two girls with hair pulled into buns and jumpsuity outfits- otherwise it was banal looking crowd, too mature. Then I went to a house party with a bunch of amateurishly young kids, and saw two totally good pairs of 80’sish overalls. loose and gathered at the ankle. I think that constitutes a street trend! I found this online to be a trend this fashion week, which as far as I could tell, was a mostly uneventful week except for an upsetting suicide and a bunch of icy snow.
