Sade has a new album out and its pretty good, but with or without this record we are experiencing a second Sade moment- mostly due to twittering tastemakers being quick on the “Sade is back” claim. The slow jam is back. Smooth and sexy will be for 2010 what hyper was for 2008. I like it. Even jungle producers such as Instram have been making erotic James Spaderish tunes. Bryan Ferry is somewhat worshipped right now as well. I recently befriended musician Toro Y moi and he told me that he is listening to tons of old R&B from the late 80′s and early 90′s. I am seeing the year coalesce and it looks smooth.
