Social Networking can be enormously helpful

Igor | May 27th, 2010

Q: How do you feel about social networking sites/applications/services? Why do you feel this way? How does it affect how you use these things?

A: Tyler Brule coined a brilliant phrase which I wholeheartedly support, “There is a kind of social network that works really well for business and play. It is called having a glass of wine”.

I agree that social networks are enormously helpful when using them in professional purposes. You can easily find anyone you need and have a quick chat because almost everybody seems to like spending most of their day on Facebook.

It is also easier to promote you fan-page on Facebook than start a full-scale web project and spend thousands of dollars every year for its upgrade.
