I like Booooooom, but I’m occasionally frustrated by the predictability of the site’s curation, which tends to focus on a fairly limited range of art styles. Fortunately, But Does It Float changes up the formula a little, using a two person curatorial team composed of designers Folkert Gorter and Atley G. Kasky.

The two seem to have divergent enough tastes that their visual art posts can be relied on to surprise and inform readers. Every other day or so Kasky or Gorter post a thought provoking essay, which helps add to the site’s variety.
