This 2009 film starring Sarah Silverman, Steve Buscemi, and Romany Malco is brilliant, funny and interesting. Loosely based on Dante’s Inferno, an ex-gambling addict working at an insurance company (Buscemi) gets promoted from the first circle of hell (cubicle world) into the fraud department. His assignment is to investigate an auto accident that occurred in Las Vegas. Obviously temptations there fuel many of the comedic events that follow. Silverman plays sexy fellow insurance agent, and it is not a far reach that she is the most desired in the office, with the boss attempting to court her. The overall feeling and absurd humor of this movie reminds me much of The Big Lebowski or O Brother Where Art Thou? There is a very amusing scene where Buscemi’s character needs to extract information from a man who is perpetually in flames.
