My footwear for the winter just turned up – the Nike Sportswear Lunar Wood. Originally launched in December 2009 with Danish designers Wood Wood its back on general release to help with the harsh Scandinavian winters which along with nocturnal graffiti expeditions inspired the design.
At the moment the men’s fashion magazines have really got into the technical side of Nike Running and the fashion editor have been seen sporting Nike Lunar Elite’s and Nike Free 5.0 all summer. Its a great looking shoe, comfy and will protect the feet from the slush and rain, so sure to be picked up by them for their winter too.
I will most likely purchase mine from my favourite sneaker store this side of the Nordics – Sneakersnstuff, just a short wait for it to come in store. That is if I don’t let the Nordic side down and succumb to the Nike Lunar Elite Trail Mid which comes out later this week.
