As you may have guessed by now, I dislike Swedish TV. Who watches broadcast TV? Not me. Certainly not after Anna Book seems to appear on every single show from celebrities competing in Prisoners in the Fort (very The Crystal Maze, if you know what that is) to showing her massive saggy breasts on a show where celebrities get free plastic surgery. When I say “celebrity” it is the loosest term of the word. These are C-listers at best. Book had a Eurovision hit back in the 80′s and we are still paying the price for it. Get her fucking off TV, please!
Just as Mad Men and True Blood come to an end and I think that’s it for TV this year, I discover HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. The trailer is a revelation. Steve Buscemi stars with Martin Scorsese and Terence Winter involved — plus gallons of prohibitive booze! The first episode airs mid-September and I can’t wait.
