I have a pair of painted Swedish clogs that have been sitting in my closet for years. With the first whispers of Fall and tights on offer everywhere, now seems like the perfect time to dust them off and take them out.
The clogs appearing all over San Francisco are tall — really tall — and covered with a playful printed fabric, riveted black leather or loafer-type tassels. Sure, you can take the Miu Miu route (above), but there are tons of lower priced options in mall stores (Urban Outfitters, Zara) that still impress without costing a week’s salary. I’ll click my heels for that.
