Two dollar Lagunitas in the city is just about at low as it gets, and at Bean Bag Cafe, the location isn’t bad either.
It’s the perfect spot for an early beer or three before strolling across the street to catch a show at The Independent. The place closes at 10pm, so it’s not as much a destination as a refueling station. Overall, it’s a chill and inexpensive way to kick off an evening. The place is packed before shows or when it’s warm, but I’ll happily stand out on the street with a beer that costs less than my bus pass any night of the week. Actually, an outdoor area and cheap beers might be the only two things needed to endear me to a place.
