I am a self-diagnosed musicoholic. Some would call it an obsession, others might refer to it as a passion or maybe pure insanity. If I could, I would listen to music 24 hours every day. When I close my eyes and fall asleep, I hear music in my dreams. When I ride my bike around the city or hop on the Metro, my journey is always accompanied by a soundtrack on my iPod. The digital revolution has witnessed the emergence of a plethora of new artistic talents: producers, bands, and DJs, who are all posting their music online for others to hear.
Some of the most talked-about podcasts in the techno world are the CLR Podcasts, hosted by Chris Liebing. Also sick, in a rather good way, are the wobbly bassy dubstep mixes on Wickedbad.net, featuring the talents of rising Canadian stars Vilify & Construct, Freedom Danish, and Matt Trouble. For a vast selection of Canadian DJ Mixes, go to DestinedToLive and pick an artist. Or, if you want a more chilled-out down home vibe, you can check out the Dubsession podcasts, a smooth melange of dub and downtempo.
