The New York Times, in the past few years, has put together some awesome features. Their One in Eight Million series about the lives of New Yorkers was moving and beautiful to watch. For the New York Times Magazine‘s Hollywood Issue, they put together little scenes of classic screen types with some very famous actors showing how it’s done.

Tilda Swinton does the devastated dame. Natalie Portman plays the worn out performer. Each piece is matched with matching music by Owen Pallett. They are slices of art.
