2010 TV Round Up

World War 2 Apocalypse was just on National Geographic. Amazing coloured footage of World War 2 with great, intelligent narration. Even if they do say that the bombing of Dresden was totally fine.

Man vs Food is one of the most enjoyable food shows ever made. A fat ex-chef has eating competitions at famous junk food spots all across the America. It has no pretensions about being a worthy foody show like fucking Market Kitchen which I fucking HATE — it’s just stupid jock fun/food porn.

Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations just went to Monrovia, Liberia, a trip that I partially helped set up yet received no credit for at the end of the show (gutted). He got sick for the first time in his career. The whole time we were there for the Vice Guide to Liberia we didn’t get sick once and we at food out of buckets on the floor.

I’ve gotta jump on The Inbetweeners bandwagon. It’s the most realistic thing about being a young adolescent at school.

Alaska State Troopers is the best new cop show out. Did you know that Alaska has more alcohol and substance abuse than any other state in America? It shows, as the cops spend most their time busting wasted canning factory workers as they attend snow-bike conventions in the mountains.
