My five favourite websites of the month

Fourteen Nineteen is a site for young, emerging, and aspiring photographers. Co-founded by Lewis Chaplin, who did some work for Vice when he was even younger than he still is, it’s a great place to find exciting new work.

Kick to Kill is one of the best music blogs around. If you like having someone suggest an amazing array of weird music, odd documentaries, and strange mixtapes then it is perfect for you. Last week I especially enjoyed the Florence Foster Jenkins album.

A Fist In The Face Of God is a blog about not much really, mainly just the sole authors interests. If you, like me, appreciate old and obscure metal demos snapshots from equally obscure 80s and 90s movies, interviews with some of the best new metal bands, and also like a few boobs here and there, then this is for you.

HUH. Magazine was set up by a friend of our staff photographer Jonnie Craig, who also helps run it. It is a free, arts paper based in London. It comes out kind of sporadically and usually has great interviews with established as well as little known creatives. This is the site of the magazine.

OI POLLOI, a shop in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, is something of an institution for anyone who lives there and likes to dress well. The owner used to manage Oasis before Liam joined too. It’s a great first port of call for anything smart but casual.
