I don’t watch TV regularly, but I do follow a few series. No Poles in these unfortunately. Hang on… What about Dorota? Dorota (Zuzanna Szadkowski) is more than just the Waldorfs’ Polish maid on Gossip Girl, she accomplishes the impossible task of keeping Blair Waldorf sane and she represents our proud nation. She owns a Blackberry and, fun fact, the ringtone for when Mrs. Eleanor Waldorf calls her is Britney Spears’ I’m a Slave 4 U. Nice one.
Funnily enough she used to be a character recognizable by her awkwardly great lines, but when the creators of the series decided to show her wedding and private life in full picture, fan blogs buzzed that they’re overdosing Dorota and that she shouldn’t be one of the female leads.
