I love me some Ratatat. I’ve been known to dance around my apartment with Classics on full blast. The warmer the weather, the better. So when Prada decided to pair Ratatat with twitchy dancing and bright colors for their Spring/Summer 2011 trailer, they had me wanting some overdone blue and white shades with loose warm-weather dresses. Hey, in SF, our winter has been shaping up to be warmer than our summer.
The stripes are nicely amped up — the Prada purchaser’s seasonal Saint James. The ruffles on the V aren’t bad either, although they severely limit the wearability. There’s too much flair for Delores Park, I’m afraid. But who am I kidding, these are not practical. They are for a hot summer day with too much drinking and a night that ends with you and your friends dancing their asses off.
