Not since my teenage days in the 90′s have I been keen on crazy combat boots — I had a pair in every color — but these red velvety ones make me smile. I don’t know if I could revisit these, as I’m old enough to remember them the first time around, but I appreciate the throwback of the My-So-Called Life years. I still appreciate the flowery, feminine, or lacy dresses with big chunky boots and loads of eyeliner — very reminiscent of an era full of wild, adventurous memories.
These heels don’t necessarily look like the fruition of Doc Marten, but I assure you they are! A more likely style for me to gravitate towards these days, fashionable and extremely comfortable, somewhat of an oxymoron in women’s shoes.
