Egyptian Maraccas is a new Tumblr run by a guy from Barcelona and a dude from Madrid that posts about 100 million weird bedroom electronica tracks a day. It’s the kind of music which will never ever be released commercially but deserves an outlet. The interface is great, with the streaming tabs built into the homepage and videos or whatever. The blurbs are written in charmingly bad English, which I have no problem with either. I’m too hungover right now to go on about how seeing Spanish pages like this run for the sake of it gives me hope for the future cultural life of blah blah blah. Have a look for yourself.
