One of my favorite Swedish producers is Dan Lissvik, hailing from Sweden’s second largest town, Gothenburg. As ‘The Studio’, with production partner Rasmus Hägg, they remixed the likes of Kylie to Brennan Green.
Putting The Studio on hold, Dan went solo as D. Lissvik, releasing his 7Trx + Intermission along with some great remixes for the likes of Fever Ray. He has since became one of my favorite Swedish producers. He cites The Beatles, The Cure and Dr. Dre as influences, and has just remixed the track Viljan by brother duo Det Vackra Livet (the side project of The Mary Onettes) which is taken off their debut album. Yet again D. Lissvik delivers a great remix!
