Since Adam Tensta released his debut album ‘It’s A Tensta Thing’ on the K-Wrek label in late 2007 (it wasn’t until 2008, when the hit single My Cool was released, that the album was a chart success), people have been wanting to know what’s next for the young MC from Tensta.
What was next for him was touched upon in the recent Nike Sportswear documentary ‘American Made’ (which I previously mentioned on this blog). Some of the new tracks from his new album provided the soundtrack to his and Jonas Jerebko’s journey. Now it’s April 2011 and he’s just released his second album, Scared of the Dark, which feels a lot darker, electronic and features some great appearances from the likes of Kano. My favorite track so far is an official remix by Owl Vision of ‘The Monkey’, which features Spoek Mathambo.
