For some reason, lots of my early adopter friends have been re-watching Anime feature lengths such as Ghost In the Shell and Akira.

Science fiction always looks good at about 20 years, but smart after 20 years? Only the Japanese can do that, and in these two films they do it with stunning visuals, great music, and advanced scientific and philosophical ideas.
