I follow dozens of style blogs from the fringes of the fashion industry. That’s what I like, the street style photographers, personal style bloggers, and small designers. There are a few of these small designers that pop up again and again on blog after blog because the innovation and quality of their work is vastly superior to what you’ll find in the commercial mainstream and they are the creme de la creme in their specialized world. They do small runs, sometimes one of a kind pieces, and oftentimes keep in close contact with their fans and customers through blogs and social media. Here are a few I’ve just adored over the past year.
