iFinally got an iPhone. It feels like I’m the last one on the planet to take the plunge, and I still have a tinge of guilt. I carried my clunky old cellie like a badge of pride. But you know what, I’ll never look back.
Look at me, never at a loss for directions, never at the whim of the weather, always clued in to where my friends are, playing twelve scrabble games at a time, showing off videos I’m working on to colleagues, pulling up crucial work emails, creating GIFs in bed and posting them to Tumblr. I love it and I have no shame.
As a filmmaker and artist one of my favorite apps has been the brand new Vimeo app that lets you edit and upload video right from your phone to your Vimeo account. I also love Giffer, an awesome little app that lets you string together your photos to create animated GIF files you can link to from your social media sites or stick right on your Tumblr. Plus I just got these little lenses which I’m super psyched about.
I’m also a total podcast junky and the This American Life app is totally worth the couple bucks to get the whole archive at your fingertips. Stitcher is a really handy app to stream podcasts without the hassle of downloading.
I love documenting and connecting and sharing, and this little device is letting me do it all so easily!
