A glance at Moscow’s future

With a brand-new design school ‘Strelka’ presenting its first breed of young urban planners, it’s enormously interesting to follow the ‘Arch-Moskva’ exhibition programme. Remaining the biggest architecture gathering in the city, ‘Arch-Moskva’ will introduce a separate project called ‘Next’ for the first time, fully devoted to young urban designers and architects from all over the country. It’s of no secret that in terms of city planning and transport infrastructure Moscow is still stuck in its glorious Soviet past, leaving all hopes on the next generation of aspiring designers, who dare to be as different from their predecessors as possible. Some of the pictures below prove that in the nearest future the landscape of Russian capital and its suburbs might look radically different.
