It finally seems that the day when journalists will die out just like the dinosaurs is dramatically close. Take a look at the website of Narrative Science company – a recent start-up developing a program which would finally allow all sorts of data to be structured and edited into a polished piece of journalist art. Perhaps at first stage the program won’t be able to compose massive articles or witty columns, but it is already quite capable of presenting short news, especially as far as sport is concerned. So next time you check you favorite sport section at local newspaper pay attention to its language, if you find it a bit ‘mechanical’ – you know it might have been created by a robot-journalist!
