American Apparel has the admirable knack for transforming things normally considered ordinary into stand-out, extraordinary, and super cool.  Maybe it’s the use of color, or their stylists’ incredible aptitude for layers — or their clever ad campaigns featuring hot, ‘normal-ish’ non models who could be models wearing very little very simple things, showing a lot of flesh with cheeky poses. Whatever it is, their panache for style has definitely got my attention, and has even made me re-consider wearing knee socks.
