For nine years Café Magazine has given out prizes to those they feel have made Swedish fashion a little better that year.

In the past the likes of Jonny Johansson (Acne, 2003 & 2009), Johan Lindeberg (J.Lindeberg, 2004) and Roland Hjort (Whyred, 2008) have won as well as stylish icons such as the Hockey star Henrik Lundqvist (2005), The Hives Pelle Almqvist (2009) and the actor Joel Kinnaman (2010) who seems to be doing great in the US version of ‘The Killing’. This year Swedish brand Our Legacy won best designers, Adam Tensta won best dressed music star (I’ve mentioned him on this blog before) and TV presenter Pär Lernström best dressed man! A few other winners of note are: best denim – Lee, best streetwear – Wood Wood, best store – Aplace, best sports collection – Nike Gyakusou and best sunglasses – Hydes.
