Mama loves you

Located in front of La Flèche d’Or, a renowned music venue, the Mama Shelter embodies a new breed of hotels. With a menu signed by Alain Senderens (dish of the day 16 euros), rooms designed by Starck (from 79 euros), it’s a rather high class hotel at affordable prices, because of its location in the west of Paris, which remains a popular area. Prized several times, as “best European business hotel”, “best hotel under 100 euros”  and “best boutique hotel of the world under 150 dollars” , it’s in the restaurant that the Mama Shelter displays its ambitions best. Divided into six spaces with a pizzeria, a lofty space with sofas and tables for 2, 4 or 6, a “show kitchen”  imagined to welcome groups around long tables and the brasserie, and a 25 plates table lightened by a neon. Add to this amazing space two bars, where music is played from time to time until 1.30 am. Overall this is a big, comfy space, where you can eat a nice lunch for around 20 euros (45 euros in the evening), and which is ideal to spend a lazy afternoon, chatting with friends, forgetting about time and a not-so-charming weather.
