Kriget, (aka The War) consists of Gustav Bendt, Christoffer Roth and Per Nordmark a group of Swedish rock musicians who have been at the fore front and back in the shadows of some of Stockholm’s best known bands such as Bad Hands, Money Brother, Club Killers, Mark Krunegård and Mauro Scocco.

In the spring of 2010, the three musicians came together to wage war on a disillusioned and bored Swedish club scene. Kriget rediscovered the magic formula that lay dormant for so long and that all rock should be based on – “a hard, freeing dance floor and an intimidating atmosphere, thrilling all who experience it with equal parts excitement and fear”.

Kriget’s debut album What a Day is released on December 1st 2010, but in the meantime check out their first video Submission which I hear has been well received by Kanye West of all people!
