Christ on a Harley, the Hunger Games was crap. I got sucked into seeing it despite knowing before I went in that the critics were being kind to it because it was marketed to the under 16′s.
Either that or all the critics have kids and the reasoning was, “this reminds me of all of those really good 70′s distopia films like Westworld or Rollerball but those are too scary/violent for my swaddled little preciouses. So I’m going to hoist this namby pamby bullshit starring Lenny fucking Kravitz on the entire world and feel smug about it for the next year of my intolerable life”.
