Actually they were pretty sick! Girls did the whole American Apparel meets Ke$ha meets native American thing, and guys all wore Hawaiian shirts but with less irony than previous outings. Californians, with the help of Australian designers like Insight are embracing their surfer heritage. Here are some I found on a blog, but I assure you I was there (not the festival but the hotel parites) and taking note of them IRL. The photoprint flower was in full effect as well, as was the LMFAO type-guy stepping out of the SUV with the cleanest sneakers I have ever seen. God bless LA.
