It doesn’t matter if at your prom you were prom queen, or a wallflower, your prom experience was never like this. With a crack team of zombie makeup specialist, a zombie store on Zazzle for swag, and a bunch of performers (a band, DJ and dancers) the zombie prom is meant to be experienced with friends or your boyfriend and he does NOT need to buy you a corsage for this event!
While I don’t know much about this event, I am highly intrigued, there are lots of prom-based events in Portland. Ron Toms does a 60s Prom Party once a year, that I’ve attended and is a blast. Complete with 60s throw back band The Monarques playing and a photo booth looking like The Enchantment Under The Sea dance where Marty McFly’s parents met.
And then there’s the Portland Prom at the Star Theatre which is really popular. But the Zombie Prom more than either of those, I would like to be a fly on the wall of. See the make-up, dresses, and what I’m going to go out on a limb here and call pageantry, as I would assume the type of folks that go to something like this are more than a little into drama.
