Holy Motors addresses the public

Callan | August 15th, 2012

One of my most trusted film-maker friends has stated that his most anticipated film in a long time is Holy Motors made by director Leos Carax whose filmography is often controversial and can best be described as “hit or miss,” and stars among others Kylie Minogue.  When asked about the public response to the film being so mixed he said:  “I don’t know who is the public. All I know, it’s a bunch of people who will be dead very soon. I don’t make public films, I make private films, and I invite whoever wants to come and see it.”

This film promises to be incredibly surreal and unique, and the polarized audience is a good sign that it is worth watching.
