Isn’t it funny when you meet someone at a bar or a party, talk to them for a while and then move on to think nothing of it but maybe a quick “oh, that guy/girl was nice/quiet/funny”, what-have-you. Then months later read a blog post, see a flyer for a show, or watch a video only to see that person you met months early featured in post/flyer/video???!! Well maybe this has never happened to you, but I find it happens a lot here in P-Town. With so many creative types populating my fair city. You could be talking to someone one day and catch them on Conan a year from said conversion.
Well, that’s exactly what happened with Dorian Duvall, otherwise know as Onuinu (pronounced on you in you), one day I was taking a picture of the very soft spoken guy/shy guy for my street style blog Portland’s Pretty, a year later he’s got the hit of the Summer and is closing the free-ever popular PDX Pop Now! festival, which is a very big deal indeed! Watch his video below shot by Andrew Sloan, all around Portland. It’s an infections grove you’re sure to get stuck in your head, but will not be saddened by the fact it’s there.
