Some of the more erudite young fashion and art sophisticates are behind V Magazine’s V-Files (some of the same people as behind art satire magazine DIS), and while the snippet interviews with New York downtown personalities can be pretty difficult to watch, the Model Files occasionally scratch at farcical genius. In a mockumentary style they humorously parody the Soho model dorms and the absurdity of fashion personalities while at the same time being successfully fashionable and aesthetically pleasing. Whether you love this type of vain fashion personality or love to hate it, you will probably enjoy watching this. If I am wrong and this is not funny, then I blame New York for making me like it.

And, this episode has “it girl” Ruth Gruca. She is not officially an “it girl,” but I adore her. She will be.
