It is now possible to visit in Mexico City chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s famous restaurant, located at the St. Regis Hotel. Its privileged location and the beautiful view of the Diana Cazadora make people think of a luxurious restaurant, which it is, but maybe not as expensive as you’d expect.
This is because the J&G in the Mexican capital is a grill. They have this ginger juice, which I recommend you to try, and their dishes change according to the season and are mainly made-up of local ingredients. I suggest you try the avocado pizza, maybe some salmon and one of their beef cuts. If you play it smart, you’ll have dinner at one of the best restaurants in Mexico and end up with a decent bill.

En la Ciudad de México ya es posible visitar el famoso restaurante del chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, el cual se encuentra en el edificio del hotel St. Regis. Su privilegiada ubicación y la bella vista hacia la Diana Cazadora hacen pensar en un restaurante de lujo, y lo es, pero tal vez no tan caro como uno esperaría.
Esto se debe a que el J&G de la capital mexicana es un grill. Tienen un agua de jengibre verdaderamente recomendable, así como platillos que cambian según la temporada y por lo general con ingredientes locales. Propongo probar la pizza de aguacate, un salmón o alguno de los cortes de carne. Si uno es lo suficientemente sabio la cuenta no saldrá tan cara y uno habrá cenado en uno de los mejores nuevos restaurantes de México.
